Privacy & Cookies

This policy explains what information we collect when you use tallyexpshuttle.com or book a trip, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible.

1. Overview

Tally Express Shuttle (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides this Privacy & Cookies Policy so you know how your information is handled. It covers our website and the trips you book with us.

2. Information we collect

  • Booking details you give us: the lead passenger’s name, email, and phone number, other passengers’ names, your trip (route, date, seats), and any luggage note.
  • Payment confirmation: card payments are processed by Square. We receive a confirmation and receipt details — we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Your account: giving us a name and an email — on a booking, a charter, a charter quote or the feedback form — creates one automatically. See “Your rider account” below.
  • Messages you send us, such as feedback or support emails.
  • Basic usage information about how the website is used (see “Analytics” below).

3. How we use your information

  • To process and manage your booking, hold your seat, and send confirmations, reminders, and updates.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website and our service.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Text messages (SMS)

When you give us your mobile number while booking a trip, requesting a charter quote, or contacting us for help, you are consenting to receive text messages from Tally Express Shuttle at that number.

These are service messages about your own trip. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we do not add you to any list.

  • What we send: booking confirmations, trip reminders, pickup details and any change to them, delays or cancellations, and replies to questions you send us.
  • How often: message frequency varies and depends on the trips you book. Most riders receive roughly two to five messages per trip. If you have no upcoming trip, you will not hear from us.
  • Opting out: reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. You can also ask us to stop by phone or email.
  • Getting help: reply HELP to any message, or contact us on (850) 730-1689 or support@tallyexpshuttle.com.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for messages.
  • Delivery: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We never sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts, and only so that the message reaches you.

Opting out of texts does not cancel your booking. We will still email you about a trip you have already booked, because that is how we confirm it and how your boarding pass reaches you.

5. Phone calls

We may call the number you give us about a trip you have booked: to find you at pickup, to tell you about a delay or a change of plan, or to sort out a problem with your booking or payment.

We do not make sales or telemarketing calls, we do not use automated dialling or pre-recorded messages, and we do not pass your number to anyone else to call you.

If you would rather we contacted you only by email, tell us and we will note it against your booking. We may still call on the day of travel if something needs a quick decision, such as the van being unable to reach your pickup point.

6. Payments

Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Square. Your card details are entered directly with Square and are never stored on our systems. Square’s handling of your information is governed by Square’s own privacy policy.

7. Your rider account

Whenever you give us a name and an email address we create an account for you automatically — when you pay for a trip, when you book or ask for a price on a charter, and when you write to us through the feedback form. You do not choose a password and there is nothing to sign up for. It exists so your trips, charters and any voucher you earn toward a future ride are in one place you can find later.

  • What it holds: your email address, the name you gave, the date it was created, the date you last signed in, your referral code, and the bookings, charters and quotes made with that email address.
  • There is no password. To sign in, we email you a link that works once and expires after 15 minutes. Signing in keeps you signed in for 30 days, or until you sign out.
  • If you arrive through a friend’s referral link, we record which code your booking came through, so the referral can be credited.
  • You never have to use the account. Booking as a guest works exactly as it always has.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Your booking and payment records stay — we are required to keep those for accounting — but they are no longer linked to an account.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We keep cookies to a minimum and do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The limited cookies and browser storage we rely on are:

  • Essential sign-in: secure cookies that keep you signed in. A rider’s lasts 30 days; a staff or administrator one lasts 8 hours. You can still book as a guest without signing in at all.
  • Your initials: a small cookie holding two letters, so the site can show you are signed in without asking our servers on every page. It lasts as long as the sign-in cookie — 30 days — holds nothing else, and gives access to nothing.
  • Referral: if you arrive through a friend’s referral link, a cookie remembers their code for 30 days, so the referral can be credited when you book.
  • Security: our bot-protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a cookie on forms such as feedback to tell real people from automated bots. Its lifetime is set by Cloudflare.
  • Local browser storage: a small amount of first-party storage used to run site features and to measure visits, without identifying you. It has no expiry date and is cleared whenever you clear site data in your browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working, but you can still browse and book as a guest. Signing out clears the rider cookies immediately, before their 30 days are up.

9. Analytics

  • We use privacy-first, first-party analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs.
  • Visits are counted using an anonymized identifier. We do not store your raw IP address, and we do not track you across other websites.
  • When you hold seats at checkout we also record the same kind of anonymized identifier against that hold, and only to stop one person taking a whole van off sale without paying. It is deleted with the hold, it is never your raw IP address, and it is not used for analytics or advertising.
  • We do not act on the browser’s “Do Not Track” signal. It was discontinued as a web standard and is applied inconsistently between browsers. Because these analytics are first-party and aggregate — they do not identify you and are never used to follow you across other websites — we count every visit so we can see which routes people need. You can still block analytics with your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker.

10. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the service:

  • Square, to process payments.
  • Cloudflare, which provides our hosting, security, and email delivery.
  • Authorities or professional advisors where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of passengers.

11. How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet accounting and legal requirements, after which we delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is kept in an aggregated, non-identifying form.

12. Your choices and rights

  • You can view or cancel a booking any time using the Manage booking page with your booking reference and email.
  • You can sign in at any time to see your trips and vouchers — we email you a one-time link, so there is no password to remember.
  • You can ask us to delete your account. Your booking records stay for accounting and legal reasons, but they stop being linked to an account.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
  • You can control cookies through your browser settings.

13. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Card data is handled by Square under industry (PCI) security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the information we hold safe.

14. Children

Our website and booking service are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 15. Children may travel as passengers when they are booked and accompanied by a responsible adult.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy & Cookies Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version.
