The trip

Christmas at the castle, driven both ways

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed evening at Magic Kingdom, on select nights through the season. There is a Christmas parade from Frontierland down Main Street, U.S.A., holiday fireworks with Cinderella Castle lit up in projections, festive versions of rides like Space Mountain and the Jungle Cruise, and cookies and seasonal drinks handed out around the park that come with the ticket.

Magic Kingdom is four hours from Tallahassee, and the party is a night out. After the fireworks, that is a hard drive home with a car full of tired people. So we drive it. The van gets you there in time for the party and brings you home through the night, and all you carry is your party ticket.

A seat on the van is not a party ticket. What we sell is the ride: we pick you up in Tallahassee, drop you at Walt Disney World, and bring you home when the party is over. The party has its own ticket, for its own night, and that is between you and Disney.

Two things to check before you book a seat: that you have a party ticket for everyone riding with you, and that the tickets are for the night this van runs.

The night

How it goes

Getting on. Be at your pickup a few minutes early. The van leaves on time and does not come back for a second run.

At the park. The van drops you at Walt Disney World. Disney lets party guests into Magic Kingdom a few hours before the party starts, so there is no rush. Your party ticket is your own to buy; we only drive.

Coming home. The van waits where it dropped you, at the time on your booking. Put that time in your phone before the fireworks.
