The trip

Summer nights on the high banks

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is Daytona's summer race for the Cup Series, run under the lights, and it closes out the regular season. By then only a few places in the Chase are still open, so the drivers on the edge go all out to keep their title hopes alive. On the high banks, that makes for a nervous last lap.

A night race finishes late, and Daytona is about four hours from Tallahassee. Rather than drive that in the dark, this trip stays over. The van takes you down, drops you at the speedway, and collects you the next day for the ride home.

Booking a van seat does not get you through the speedway gate. What we sell is the trip there, the drop-off, and the ride home the next day. The race ticket is sold by Daytona International Speedway.

Before you book with us, make sure you have your race ticket, and that the day on it is the day this van runs.

How it goes

Getting on. Arrive at your pickup a few minutes ahead. The van goes at the time on your booking, once.

At the speedway. The van drops you at the track. Getting in is down to your ticket, and the speedway's fan guide lists what you can take with you.

The night. Your room for the night is yours to book; we do not arrange it. The van comes back for you the next day at the time on your booking.

Coming home. Be packed and ready at that time. Sit back for the four hours home while someone else watches the road.
