What it looks like

The trip

The fall rally, without the ride down

Biketoberfest is Daytona Beach's fall motorcycle rally, and this is its 34th year: four days of live music, bike shows, custom builds, hundreds of vendors and motorcycle racing at the speedway. It is not one venue with one gate. The official site describes it as activities at venues and businesses across Volusia County, with rides along A1A, historic Main Street and the Scenic Loop. The city says it draws more than 100,000 motorcycle fans.

You do not need a bike to be part of it, and you do not need to drive four hours to get there. The van takes you to Main Street, you spend the night in the Daytona Beach area, and it brings you home the next day.

0 of 9 seats booked. 4 more seats and the van runs.

A seat is $100.00. You pay when you book, and every cent comes back if the van does not fill. It sets off in 32 days.

Social

The rally, as it posts itself

The rally's own Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are the quickest way to see it the way riders do: the bikes, the rides and the streets.

Before you go

Buy the ride here. Check each event before you go.

A seat on the van is the ride and nothing else. We pick you up in Tallahassee, drop you on Main Street, and bring you home the next day. What you do at the rally is up to you.

Because the rally is spread across so many places, each event sets its own terms. At the speedway, the motorcycle marketplace with free demo rides is, in the speedway's words, free and open to the public with no ticket needed. The racing weekend there is ticketed. The official welcome center is at the speedway too, handing out free posters and pins. For everything else, the official site and its app have the events.

The weekend

How it goes

Getting on. Be at your pickup a few minutes early. The van leaves on time and makes one run.

  • FSU Union
  • Governor's Square Mall

On Main Street. The van drops you on Main Street. From there the day is yours. The rest of the rally, the speedway included, is yours to get to.

The night. Where you sleep is yours to book. The van does not wait around in the evening; it comes back for you the next day at the time on your booking.

Coming home. Put that time in your phone when you book, and be ready for it. You get a driver home and a nap on the way, if you want one.
